Introduction:

We use chemical energy for many purposes, from gas and oil furnaces in our homes, to gasoline engines in our cars, to coal-burning power plants, and much more. Most of our technology relies on natural resources of chemical energy, known as fossil fuels. In this activity, you will investigate the US statistics of how we use fossil fuels.
